    5 Star Recruits 13-7

    DE-R.J Washington
    LB-Shayne Hale
    OL-Tyron Smith
    RB-Jermie Calhoun
    DE-DaQuan Bowers
    OL-Michael Brewster
    ATH-Will Hill

Washington and Calhoun are headed to Oklahoma, Bowers is commited to Clemson and Brewster is going Ohio State. FSU is involved with Will Hill, but I don't know their chances.

VT and UVa both are involved with Shayne Hale...but I don't think either will be a factor in the end

FSU has done really well in recruiting to this point, they have received 2 commitments over the past two days to go along with the ones in my signature pic. WR Avis Commack commited today joining high school teamates Nigel Carr and Jermaine Thomas who had previously committed and TE Jabaris Little committed yesterday.

    Re: 5 Star Recruits 13-7

    VT has 5 commitments...DJ Thomas a CB/RB, Bruce Taylor a LB, Kendrick Pressley a WR/CB, Derrick McCoy a WR/OLB and Austin Fuller a WR/FS

DJ Thomas is a burner but small in stature like Mike Imoh

Bruce Taylor will be the 3rd most talented player to ever set foot on VT campus as a true freshman, behind only Kevin Jones and Mike Vick

Kendrick Pressley is a tweener and more than likely won't contribute if he ever makes the grade

Derrick McCoy is a 6'3 205lb WR who could play a number of other positions depending on how well VT recruits at the WR position this year, which looks to be really good

Austin Fuller is a local kid who i think will contribute on defense and special teams, although he has great hands

expect VT to get a load of commitments after June 9 and July 14, probably upwards of 15 recruits...some of the more likely would be

DJ Coles...6'4 WR, big and strong one of the top players in-state
Tony Gregory...6'1 RB, very fast, but needs some weight
Ahmed Shakoor...5'10 CB, from GA speedy corner
Ben Barber...5'11 WR/FS, brother of former VT starter Willie Pile
Marcus Davis...6'6 225lb WR/DE/TE, easily the best WR in the state and should be 4 star by the end of the year, if not already
Chaz Sutton...6'4 DE out of GA, very nice player
TJ Walker...6'4 DE out of Maryville, should be a good pick-up
AJ Blue...6'2 QB, very fast, strong arm, but will prob play a different position at VT
Xavier Boyce...6'4 215lb SS, built very much like Kam Chancellor and probably more athletic
